Deiter Hopes To Open Eyes Going Forward

The beauty of early camps and combines is finding those players under the radar prior to them getting noticed on the recruiting scene. Sunday, Michael Deiter from Genoa, Ohio opened some eyes with his performance at the Midwest Elite Big Man Camp in Wixom, Michigan.

Sunday's performance at the Midwest Elite Big Man Camp was the first of what could be a whirlwind of things to come for Genoa, Ohio offensive lineman Michael Deiter.

Deiter, who stands 6-foot-4, 267-pounds, is under the radar but knows he can control his future at spring and summer camps.

"It was a great day today," said Deiter. "I just love coming here to work on football and get better. I know I improved today with all the good coaching and could tell I got better as compared to last yere when I came here."

While offers have eluded him so far, Deiter has been hearing from several schools and is planning to attend some camps to earn his offers.

"Schools have been stopping by and I've received a lot of offers to go to camps," said Deiter. "I really want to go to Michigan State's camp as well as Illinois and probably Ohio State as well. Those are my favorites, especially Michigan State."

What has Deiter so excited about the Spartans? "I really like their coaches," said Deiter. "I like how they look and how they play."
