Wolf Talks Spartans Visit

The top tight end out of Ohio visited Michigan State this weekend and gave SpartanDigest.com the latest on his visit.

With an offer list that continues to grown Minster (Ohio) tight end Ethan Wolf set off for a weekend of visits with one happening at Michigan State.

"The trip has been good," said Wolf. "I had fun but it was a long weekend as we left Friday morning at 5:30 and not been home since then."

The first stop on the trip was with the Spartans and Wolf saw the team in action.

"We got to watch practice and I saw how they use two tight ends," explained Wolf. "I got a chance to see Coach (Jim) Bollman in action. You can see he's a good coach with a lot of experience as he really coaches his players up and points out their mistakes. He strives for perfection in what they do."

Wolf also caught up with his main recruiting coach Mike Tressel on the visit.

"Coach Tressel was great and told me they like what I do and pretty much let me go watch the tight ends while I was there," said Wolf. "We chatted at lunch and just had some small talk."

How the Spartans use the tight end could play in their favor.

"It excites me that they use two tight ends," said Wolf. "It was a good visit and there were a lot of good things I saw."

Wolf also got time with Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio and came away feeling solid in the Spartans interest.

"We spoke with Coach Dantonio and he liked what we're doing and really feels I can it in at Michigan State," said Wolf.

Spartan Digest will continue to track one of the Spartans top targets as he continues the recruiting process in the coming months.
