Copeland Ready For Spartans Visit

One of the top Michigan State prospects in the 2014 recruiting class is ready for the Spartans to visit again. We check in with Dayton, Ohio defensive back Vayante Copeland.

It is no secret Michigan State is in hot pursuit of Dayton (Ohio) Thurgood Marshall two-way standout Vayante Copeland.

Copeland, who continues to hear from several programs, is looking forward to seeing the Spartans make a return trip to the Dayton area.

"Things are going good right now," Copeland told Spartan Digest. "There is not really much going on but I do know Michigan State will be in my school to see me on Monday."

While Copeland is hopeful an on campus visit will happen soon with the Spartans, this weekend looks full.

"I have the ACT this Saturday," explained Copeland. "If I can get out of there in time, I'm going to try and visit either Ohio State's spring game in Cincinnati or Indiana's spring game. Right now I'm not sure I'll be able to attend either one of them."

Not only is Copeland busy getting himself ready for track season, he's also helping his younger brother.

"I'm training now for track and working with my 12 year old brother," said Copeland. "He's got asthma and I'm just trying to get him back right like he was the season before."

With the Copeland expecting the Spartans to visit on Monday, word could soon come about a campus visit. SpartanDigest.com will check back with the FOX Sports NEXT four-star corner for any new developments.
