Beedle Waits To Hear From Spartans

After an impressive performance at the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp and at Michigan State a few days before, David Beedle knows it is now up to Michigan State to extend an offer. We caught up with Beedle about his interest in the Spartans.

The Sound Mind Sound Body Camp has provided Michigan State extra time to see many prospects from the state of Michigan over the years. This year was no different as the Spartans were able to watch Clarkston (Mich.) prospect David Beedle at their camp early last week and again at the camp held in Southfield, Michigan.

"This is a nice camp," Beedle said of Sound Mind Sound Body. "They definitely bring a different aspect to things as it's not just about football, but about the overall side of things. I thought it was a good camp experience and felt I did very well."

Not only did Beedle feel good about his showing in front of the Spartans at SMSB, he also felt he did a great job in East Lansing during one of the Spartans summer camps.

"I feel I did really well at their camp," said Beedle. "I love it at Michigan State as it's a really good place. During the one-on-ones, I felt I did a really good job and didn't lose any. So I felt I did really well."

What would an offer from the Spartans mean to Beedle?

"It would mean a lot to get an offer from Michigan State," said Beedle. "State is kind of a place I've always looked up to more than anyone else. I've just grow up watching them."

If the Spartans offer, would Beedle find the decision to be a Spartan an easy one?

"It would be hard to say no to Michigan State," said Beedle. "But there are a lot of other factors that will go into my decision like playing time and academics. But MSU has my academics so it would be pretty hard to say no."
