"I'm back practicing and it feels good," Bullough said. "We are just talking about how we've got 11 days until Western and I think we're going to be ready."
Bullough said the reps continue to be divided for the Spartans.
The reps are valuable to Bullough, who still is getting the in and outs of tailback after his move in the spring.
"I think I missed out a little just because I am trying to get as many reps as I can because I haven't played that much tailback," he said. "I felt like I missed out a little bit, but I got back in it (Monday), got back in the swing of things and it felt good."
**Also after practice, senior offensive tackle Fou Fonoti was working on his punch out of his stance. Fonoti had been hindered by an unspecified "minor injury."
**When asked who will the QB job, sophomore defensive end Shilique Calhoun said he had no idea.
"I wish I knew," he said. "I wish you could tell me that one. I don't know yet. They are all working hard to get that number one spot, which I love because it's a grind for all of us and it only makes us better. I don't know. Coach D hasn't told me that much. I guess I'm not in that loop yet."
**Calhoun also was asked about the speed of the quarterbacks on the team – specifically Terry – and at first said he would win a race with them, but then regressed.
"There are a couple quarterbacks that have some legs," he said. "Like Connor, Connor Cook has legs. Damion, I don't know if I could beat Damion in a race, I was only joking around. Tyler O'Connor, those are some fast guys."
As for Andrew Maxwell, Calhoun said, "I think I could get him, maybe if he had that knee brace on."
