Following the game, Cage explained how tough the game was.
"It was a dog fight," stressed Cage. "We had to push until the end but came together for the win as we played as one and won."
Playing against a bigger program like Lakota West didn't have Cage or his teammates thinking anything but a win was ahead of them.
"We never back down from any challenge," said Cage. "We make sure we're going to play as a team and get through it as a team. As for this win, it wasn't really a surprise as we just needed to play smart and play together to get the win."
While open to other programs, Cage is favoring two at this stage of the recruiting process but will remain open until he makes his decision.
"I'm in contact with Louisville and Michigan State and those are the two main schools right now," he said. "Michigan State is a family based team and the main thing they have is they offer what I'm looking for educationally and that is why I'm still looking at them."
What will it take for Cage to make his decision?
"I'm hoping to take official visits before making my decision," said Cage. "Then it's just going to be me sitting down with my family and deciding what is best."
