Brown Excited About Return to MSU

Ohio running back Bobby Brown was hoping to have some exciting highlights to show Michigan State coaches the next time he returned to campus. This weekend, Brown will visit for the Spartans battle with Youngstown State and we get the latest on what he's hearing from MSU.

After a summer of hard work, Middletown (Ohio) Lakota East senior running back Bobby Brown was ready to have a breakout season.

After his teams blowout win in week one, Brown was off to a hot start in his second game of the season with just under ten yards per carry early in the game. However, after three carries, Brown was sidelined with an injury.

"I suffered an injury to my shoulder in the first quarter of our game against Lancaster (Ohio) last Friday night," said Brown.

While still suffering some discomfort, Brown is positive he'll be on the field this Friday.

"We play Clayton (Ohio) Northmont this week," he said. "I'll be back this week ready to go."

One thing Brown does know about this weekend surrounds a return visit to Michigan State for their game against Youngstown State.

"I'm going back up to Michigan State on Saturday," said Brown. "I've been talking with coach (Harlon) Barnett and he wants to check out some early film from this season. I've been up to camp and two games in the past and I'm excited to go back up there this weekend."

For Brown the chance to earn an offer from the Big Ten program would be something he'd welcome.

"If Michigan State were to offer me it would be a true blessing," he said.

With offers from Kent State and Ohio already extended, Brown is also hearing from another BCS program.

"I've also been talking with Oregon State," said Brown. "Like Michigan State, they want to see some senior film."
