Notre Dame's offensive first downs – and the number of first downs the Irish gained via Michigan State penalty.


Michigan State's penalty yardage in South Bend. It was the highest penalty yards against the Spartans since they had 124 against Michigan in 2011 in the "60 minutes of unnecessary roughness game."


Penalties against Michigan State against Notre Dame. It was the most since the Spartans had 10 against Boise State to open the 2012 season.
