How MSU commits fared (Week 6)

Tight end commit Matt Sokol (Rochester Adams) had a huge day rushing, but left with a season-ending injury.

Matt Sokol

Sokol led Rochester Adams to a 42-21 with 289 yards on 24 carries. The 289 yards are an Adams record for single-game rushing yards.

It wasn't all positive, however, as Sokol suffered a season-ending injury with a fractured fibula and an injured left ankle.

Sokol told me his parents have talked to multiple doctors and "all of whom are confident that I will recover 100%."

He also was much more focused on the fact he wouldn't be able to help his team in the final three games and not at practice with them.

Matt Morrissey

Morrissey continued his good season catching the ball as he had four receptions for 121 yards and a 73-yard touchdown. He also had an interception.

Jalen Watts-Jackson

Watts-Jackson had a 57-yard fumble return for a touchdown and a 34-yard touchdown reception in Orchard Lake St. Mary's 31-14 loss to Brother Rice.
