Gerald Owens

The bruising tailback had missed some time with an ankle injury but playd this week in West Deptford's 34-7 win against Collingswood. He had a 2-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Vayante Copeland

Copeland had a touchdown in a 41-12 loss to Akron (Ohio) St. Vincent-St Mary.

Brian Allen

The Hinsdale (Ill.) Central center returned from injury and had an impressive sack from defensive end, according to Beth Long.

Matt Morrissey

Morrissey recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown.

Byron Bullough

Did not play in Traverse City St. Francis' 28-14 loss to Saginaw Nouvel.

Chris Frey

Ran 19 times for 80 yards in a 21-0 loss.

Jalen Watts-Jackson

Orchard Lake St Mary's dropped to Detroit Catholic Central 14-6. It is possibly St. Mary's will miss the playoffs for the second time in 12 years.

Deon Drake

Cass Tech linebacker helped hold Detroit Mumford to just six points in a win for the Technicians.


Jayru Campbell

Cass Tech rolled over Detroit Mumford 41-6 to win the Detroit Public School League West Division title. Campbell completed 4 of 11 pass for 86 yards and had an 11-yard touchdown run.
