Kraemer Loved MSU Visit 2016 four-star offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer loved his game day visit to Michigan State on Saturday. Spartan Digest caught up with Kraemer to learn more about his experience.

As one of Ohio's top young prospects, Cincinnati (Ohio) Elder sophomore offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer is just starting to get into the recruiting scene.

Saturday, his visit to Michigan State opened his eyes as to what his future can be.

"Michigan State was my first visit anywhere," said Kraemer on Sunday night. "I loved it up there and it's really nice."

Kraemer got a chance to learn more about the Spartans program from someone who knows all about the Spartans program.

"We got there and I was a little nervous," he said. "We were wondering around and Skyler Burkland came around and gave my dad and I a tour of the football facilities. So we saw the weight room, practice fields, training room and the film room.

"This was my first visit anywhere and I really wasn't expecting the facilities to be so nice. So when we walked around looking at everything, I was really blown away. I also liked how they are really big on academics, so that was really good.

"Skyler also talked about how nice head coach Mark Dantonio is and about how he allows his players to go home for vacations. I know a lot of their coaches there coached at Cincinnati, so that was cool to see."

Not only did Kraemer get a chance to see the Spartans facilities, he also got a chance to check out some of the pregame rituals of the program.

"We got on a bus and got to see the team walk before getting our tickets," he explained. "We then went on the field before the game and that was really nice.

As for the game, the Ohio native came away impressed with the team's performance in such a big game.

"I was definitely surprised because I thought it was going to be a really close game," said Kraemer. "But Michigan State's defense really put it to them and the offensive line really kicked their pants."
