Ian Leever – Loveland (Ohio) HS - Helping his team to a state championship allowed Leever to be seen by many. Learning he played a majority of the year with an injury that required surgery showed the toughness the offensive lineman has. Michigan State has taken notice and will be taking a hard look at the 6-foot-6, 280-pound Southwest Ohio native.
Kei Beckham – Trotwood (Ohio) Madison - Built with a long and lean frame, Beckham brings a certain set of skills the Spartans want to see more of. Must have a solid camp showing before MSU pulls the trigger with an offer.
Chris Fobbs – Miamisburg (Ohio) HS - One of the best overall athletes in Ohio, Fobbs could grow into an athletic outside linebacker in the coming years or a big physical safety. Older brother played for Akron and Arkansas is already taking an early look at the 6-foot-, 190-pound standout.
Christopher Young – Miamisburg (Ohio) HS - Young is another prospect who could see his stock soar after a solid junior year where he rushed for 1,224 yards and 16 touchdowns. However, his ability to play on either side of the ball will be what intrigues the Spartans.
Nick Conner – Dublin (Ohio) Scioto HS - Another linebacker the Spartans will be looking hard at in the coming months. Has picked up early offers from Illinois and Kentucky, but must show the Spartans what all he brings to the table.
James Daniels – Warren (Ohio) Harding - Holds reported offers from much of the Big Ten including Michigan State. Many feel he's an early Ohio State lean, however, MSU will make a push for the guard/center prospect with Pat Narduzzi looking to head up his recruitment.
Anthony McKee – Columbus (Ohio) Walnut Ridge HS - The Spartans love McKee and an offer is just waiting on Mark Dantonio handing it out. That could happen in the next few months as the Spartans put the Rose Bowl and the 2014 recruiting class behind them.
Bryce Jenkinson – Greenville (Ohio) HS - Not many top level football prospects come out of the small country town of Greenville, Ohio. However, when one does, they are usually tough and hardnosed much like Jenkinson. Coming back from an injury may have slowed his recruitment, but a strong spring and summer could open the eyes of many including Michigan State.
