McKee Remains High on the Spartans

Friday found Anthony McKee adding two scholarship offers to his growing list. However, one program the Ohio native has high on his list is Michigan State. What is the latest between the Spartans and one of Ohio's top 2015 prospects? We have the latest with the early four-star prospect.

There is no shortage of suitors for Columbus (Ohio) Walnut Ridge junior linebacker Anthony McKee.

With double digit scholarship offers, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound McKee is constantly hearing about one program he has high on his list.

"Everybody at my school is high on Michigan State," said McKee. "With Robert Bowers now going there, everybody loves Michigan State now. Also, Bowers is always in my ear talking with me about them."

While several schools have stopped by to see McKee, Spartans linebacker coach Mike Tressel made sure to express the Spartans interest.

"Coach Tressel said for me to get back up on campus," he said. "I like their campus and Coach Tressel has stressed to make sure to do what I feel is best when I make my decision."

While the Spartans have yet to offer, McKee would be extremely high if one came his way.

"An offer from Michigan State would be a big deal," stressed McKee. "I like their program and their success this year was great to watch. If they would offer, I would have them as one of my top teams if I had to look at schools now."
