With several top offers already on his board, Rob Dowdy has great interest in earning one from Michigan State. The Ohio offensive lineman will soon visit campus where he hopes he can list the Spartans as his newest scholarship offer.
With great physical size, Westerville (Ohio) South offensive lineman Rob Dowdy
knows he's got the frame to be a player in the Big Ten. Now he's hoping to add Michigan State
to his growing list of offers.
"I was just offered by Minnesota
," said Dowdy. "I'm hoping to get an offer from Michigan State when I go up there for their Junior Day on March 1-st. I really like how Michigan State use overall power in their play and look forward to going up and checking everything out."
While the 6-foot-5, 285-pounder has been on the recruiting radar for some time, he can't believe his time is already here but also knows he can't rest on past performances.
"It has come really quick," he said. "I didn't expect it to be here so soon. Today, I came out here to get better as a player as I'm always looking for ways to better myself and my skills."
