With the two new teams, the conference schedules now feature five home-and-home series with eight single-plays – four on the road and four at home. Michigan State's 2013-14 schedule had seven home-and-homes with four single games.
The Spartans will play home-and-home series with Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Maryland and Northwestern. The single-play opponents coming to East Lansing are Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State and Purdue, while the Spartans will go on the road to face Iowa, Nebraska, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
The in-state rivalry with Michigan will be a two-game series for the fifth straight season after being a single-play in 2008 and in 2009.
Michigan State also had single-plays with Wisconsin and Nebraska in 2013-14.
