Ohio offensive lineman Ian Leever spoke with Spartan Digest about when he'll be visiting Michigan State in the coming weeks.
With a handful of scholarship offers already in hand, Loveland (Ohio) offensive lineman Ian Leever
is looking to add an offer from the Big Ten. Could Michigan State
be the school that extends him that offer?
"I just spoke with Coach (Harlon) Barnett at Michigan State," Leever told SpartanDigest.com. "We've been talking quite a bit and just set up a time for me to visit. So I'll be going up there on March 25-th for their 3 p.m. practice.
We're not talking much about the whole recruiting thing. But he said they are interested and they want me to come up and see the facilities and everything."
For Leever, the Spartans are a program he's became extremely impressed with over the past year.
"It was extremely impressive how they beat Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game and then winning the Rose Bowl," he said. "That is a big time program that is winning and that is the type of program I want to go to."
