Trice hopes for memorable game Sunday

MSU junior doesn't remember last season's meeting with UConn because of a concussion, but hope this time he will remember it and it will be something to remember.

Many of the members of the Michigan State basketball team got the experience of playing against Connecticut a season ago in Germany.

Those who did remember it, except for guard Travis Trice.

The junior suffered concussion and a broken nose in the second half of the Spartans' loss and missed the following five games.

"I don't remember the game at all, especially the second half," Trice said. "I remember a little bit of the first half, but if you ask me a question about that game or a certain play, I don't remember at all."

Trice had three points in the game, but the inadvertent headbutt from Connecticut point guard Shabazz Napier sent him to the bench.

"He's gotta stop getting knocked around so much," sophomore Matt Costello said.

In this meeting, with a Final Four appearance on the line, Trice hopes it is something to remember.

"Hopefully, I can remember it fully and I wanna win," he said.
