Listermann Talks New East Coast Offers

Ohio offensive lineman Noah Listermann talks about his new offers from Maryland and Virginia in our latest update.

Offers continue to come in and surprise Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods offensive tackle Noah Listermann on a weekly basis.

"Maryland offered me after Coach (Greg) Studrawa came in and I got a chance to show off my box jump abilities," said Listermann. "He watched me do that and I guess he was really impressed and liked my film and they offered right after that."

What does the Ohio native know about the new Big Ten program?

"I know they just entered the Big Ten," he said. "I also know they have one of the best kinesiology programs in the country and that is big because I want to become a physical therapist."

Could a summer visit be in the works?

"I've not seen how far of a trip it is," he said. "However, if I can get out there I'd like to visit them."

Joining the Terrapins was ACC program Virginia.

"It's kind of funny how I learned about the offer from Virginia," continued Listermann. "I was talking on the phone with my coach and it came up in our conversation that I had an offer from Virginia. I didn't know they had offered as my recruiting coach didn't tell me. But Coach (Scott) Wachenheim told me about it on the phone.

"This is not the first time it's happen to me and I almost get embarrassed by it when it does."

What does the 6-foot-7, 270-pound offensive tackle know about the Cavaliers?

"I don't really know much about them," he said. "I do know they are taking four offensive tackles in the class and I think they already have two of them. I know Virginia is a really great academic school and hope to visit if I can get out there."
