Myers Setting Up Visit To Michigan State

This spring one of the hottest names in Ohio was Class of 2017 offensive lineman Josh Myers. Michigan State has started recruiting the talented prospect and Myers will soon visit campus.

Picking up offers from Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee, Florida and Cincinnati as a high school freshman has placed Miamisburg (Ohio) offensive lineman Josh Myers on the recruiting fast track.

The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Myers saw the Spartans visit school and now he's looking to return the favor.

"Michigan State was one of the schools that visited school," said Myers. "So I'm looking to visit them here in the next few weeks as an offer would mean a lot because they are a big name school and have had great success."

While impressed the Spartans success on the field, Myers stresses one of the biggest reasons for visiting the Spartans is their head coach.

"I've not been to Michigan State before," he said. "I'm excited to meet their coaching staff as I've heard so many good things about Coach (Mark) Dantonio. Because I've heard so many good things about him and everyone says it's all true, I'm excited just to go up and meet him and his staff."
