While many cornerbacks tried to be physical on the line with wide receivers at Thursday's Sound Mind Sound Body, that was not the case with Donnie Corley Jr.
The 2016 Wyandotte (Mich.) Roosevelt wide receiver instead saw defensive backs giving him a cushion off the line much of the time.
Corley still put on a strong performance and left feeling things had gone well.
"It went really well and I got a lot of coaches talking to me today," he said.
The coaches on hand from Toledo also extended an offer to the 6-foot-1, 170 pounder.
"I'm really excited and really happy to have that offer," he said.
Corley, who was ranked an early four-star on Scout.com this week, already holds a Big Ten offer from Illinois, as well.
"It just gave me a little more confidence in myself already to have a big offer from the start," he said.
He has been in touch with Michigan State, who spoke with him Thursday and saw him at camp a couple weeks ago.
"They want me to come up there for another visit soon," he said. "The camp went really well, but my hamstring was kind of bothering me that day. It still went good."
Next up, Corley will head to camp at Wisconsin on Sunday.
