How MSU commits fared (Week 6)

MSU quarterback commit Brian Lewerke combined for seven touchdowns in a big win, highlighting the week for Michigan State commits.

Brian Lewerke

The Phoenix Pinnacle quarterback led a rout with huge numbers. He accounted for seven total touchdowns, as he threw for four and ran for three. He competed 16 of 22 passes for 289 yards and ran for 106 yards in the 63-29 win for Pinnacle.

L.J. Scott

The Hubbard running back had 291 yards on 14 carries with three touchdowns runs. He had touchdowns of 13, 61 and one-yard in Hubbard’s 56-6 win. He was on campus Saturday for Michigan State’s 27-22 win against Nebraska.

Khari Willis

The Jackson Lumen Christi running back has posted big numbers all season. On Saturday in the Titans’ 35-24 win, Willis ran for a season-high 275 yards on 27 carries with three rushing touchdowns. He had touchdown runs of 80, 23 and two yards. He also had a fumble recovery.

Josh Butler

The West Mesquite cornerback left with an injury. Scout.com’s Gabriel Brooks reported Butler left favoring his left knee.

Felton Davis

Davis did not play in Highland Springs’ 20-0 win due to a sore back.

Tyson Smith

Orchard Lake St. Mary’s dropped to Brother Rice 28-20 as Smith missed the game with an injury he suffered last week against Warren De La Salle.
