Quick Update: McKee On Spartans Visit

As he was making his way back from Michigan State, Anthony McKee traded a few messages with Spartan Digest about his visit with the Spartans.

What many thought would be his official visit to Michigan State turned out to be another chance for Columbus (Ohio) Marion-Franklin linebacker Anthony McKee to see the Spartans and connect.

“It was good and I had a ball at the school,” said McKee by messenger. “The coaches were real cool and I like the staff. It was a good game with two top schools and I knew it was going to be a banger. I got a good game and like both teams.

“This visit was an unofficial and I will take another one for my official.”

McKee has talked in recent interviews about making his decision in late December. However, many thought the Spartans would be battling Oklahoma for his signature. McKee is now looking at a few other schools as well.

“I will be at Pittsburgh the end of the month,” he said. “I’m also looking at a couple of more like Kentucky.”

One thing McKee does know about his future, is how he'll be a factor at the next level.

“I know where I go, I’m planning on winning and being a factor in the program,” he said.
