What looked like it would be a quiet winding down to the 2015 recruiting class has been anything but for Michigan State -- and it has been all good news so far.
And the good news looks like it will be two-fold Wednesday morning for the Spartans as Andrew Dowell and David Dowell decommitted from Kentucky on Tuesday night and are expected to commit to Michigan State on Wednesday.
The twins from Lakewood (%%MATCH_8%%) St. Edwards committed to Northwestern early in the process before flipping to Kentucky, but when Michigan State offers came in Tuesday, they decommmitted from the Wildcats.
David is a 6-foot-2, 180-pound wide receiver and cornerback, while Andrew is a 6-1, 200-pound running back/defensive back. Both are rated as four-star recruits by Scout.com.
The pair joined Saddleback (Calif.) Community College linebacker/defensive back Drake Martinez after he committed Tuesday night to Michigan State. The class now sits at 18 members with a week left until signing day.
