Trice says shoulder is feeling better

Senior guard hurt his left shoulder against Rutgers on Thursday, but he insists he will be good to go on Sunday against Michigan

Twice against Rutgers on Thursday night, Travis Trice came up holding his left shoulder.

The Michigan State senior took a big hit on a screen on the second time and went down to the court in the second half of the MSU win. On Friday, Trice insisted the shoulder was feeling a lot better.

”Got a brace on, it’s helping,” Trice said.

Spartans coach Tom Izzo said there were not many limitations placed on his senior guard in Friday’s practice.

”He's sore and that's kept him out of a few things but not much,” Izzo said. “I don't see that being any problem.”

With a rivalry game coming against Michigan on Sunday, Trice said he will be ready to go.

“Can’t worry about how my shoulder is feeling going into this game,” he said.
