Ohio Offensive Lineman To Take In Spring Game

One of Ohio’s top offensive line prospects is scheduled to visit Michigan State for the first time when the Spartans hold their annual Green-White game later this month.

Offers continue to come in for offensive tackle prospect Alex Gellerstedt out of Dublin (Ohio) Coffman High.

One school the 6-foot-7, 255-pound Gellerstedt has yet to visit is Michigan State. That will change before the month is over.

“I’m going to Michigan State for their spring game,” said Gellerstedt. “I’ve definitely heard great things about the coaching staff, especially Coach (Mark) Dantonio and Coach (Mark) Staten.”

Leading the way for the Spartans is co-defensive coordinator Mike Tressel.

“I’ve been talking with Coach Tressel and he wants to get me up for the spring game,” he said. “This way it will give me a chance to sit down with the coaches and see what they have at Michigan State as I’ve not been up there before.”
