Mark Dantonio: Kaleel Gaines Cleared By NCAA

Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio was extremely excited to announce at Big Ten Media Day that freshman defensive back Kaleel Gaines had been cleared by the NCAA and ready to play for the Spartans.

Michigan State received great news from the NCAA as freshman defensive back Kaleel Gaines was cleared and officially part of the Michigan State group of incoming freshmen.

Gaines, was one of the Spartans top recruiting wins in the 2015 class as he held reported offers from Florida State, Auburn and Ohio State to name a few.

At 5-foot-11, 175-pounds, Gaines is the type of player Dantonio feels could see early action this fall and as you can see by his post on Twitter, he's pretty excited to be headed to East Lansing.
