Spartan Digest and Scout are proud to present an exclusive look at three-star running back Abdul Adams in our Scout Spotlight series of high-quality videos that shine the spotlight on the nation's top college football recruits, including Washington, D.C. native Abdul Adams.
Adams, who gave Michigan State his commitment in late April of this year, entered the recruiting process very under the radar. However, after the Spartans got involved and other college programs started looking at the unique skill set Adams will bring to the college game, offers started poring in from across the country.
Despite the increased interest shown by others, Adams has remained a strong pledge to the Spartans and one of the key members of the Spartans recruiting efforts with his input to DreamTeam2016 the official Twitter account of the 2016 MSU commits.
In this exclusive Scout Spotlight, you'll see why Adams has risen from an unknown prospect to one of the top running backs in the country. You'll also get a chance to see and hear what Adams thinks about his game and the factors that led him to become a future Michigan State Spartan.
SPARTAN DIGEST EVALUATION
We really like what we see from Adams on film as he shows great feet and vision. His ability to change direction is elite as he does it quickly without a wasted step. Add in the fact Adams can catch the ball out of the backfield and get up field quickly and you see a player capable of making big plays. There are things he'll have to work on as he'll need to add some bulk to his frame, but that will come once he's in a college strength and conditioning program full time.
