Michigan State senior quarterback Connor Cook made sure to give praise to his defense and offensive line following win over Oregon.

Despite playing a solid game himself against Oregon, Michigan State senior quarterback Connor Cook stressed his pleasure in the play of the Spartans defense and his offensive line.

Michigan State senior quarterback Connor Cook has never been shy about giving credit to where credit is due. Saturday night, Cook watched in the closing minutes of the Spartans 31-28 win over Oregon as his defensive teammates came up big as the Ducks received the football after the Spartans offense went three plays and out with just over two-minutes left in the game and the ball on the Spartans 48 yard line.

During the next seven plays all Cook could do was watch, pray and cheer on his teammates as they looked to stop Vernon Adams one more time to secure at least a tie if not a win.

Following the game Cook gave praise to his teammates for how they came up big when the Spartans needed it most as the defense pressured the Ducks quarterback with four sacks and six quarterback hurries while keeping one of the most powerfull offenses in college football in check when they needed to most.
