Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio was named to the Paul "Bear" Bryant Coach of the Year Watch List for 2015.

Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio named one of 22 college head coach to the 30th annual Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year Award watch list.

Mark Dantonio whose Michigan State team is currently 7-0 this season is in his ninth season as the Spartans head coach and coming off his 100th career win as a college head coach.   

Wednesday, Dantonio was named to the 30th annual watch list for the Paul "Bear" Bryant Coach of the Year award.

Joining Dantonio on the Watch List are fellow Big Ten head coaches Kirk Ferentz, Jim Harbaugh and Urban Meyer.  The award is presented by the Marathon Oil Corporation and will be presented on January 13th in Houston, Texas and their annual awards banquet.
