Where did Michigan State find themselves in the polls after their eighth win of the season in beating Indiana 52-26?

Michigan State heads into the bye week with a perfect 8-0 record after defeating Indiana 52-26 on Saturday afternoon. How did those who vote in the college football polls view the Spartans?

Eight weeks of the college football season have come and gone for Mark Dantonio and his Michigan State Spartans.  With a perfect 8-0 record heading into the bye week, the Spartans have seen their rankings in the polls go up and down since the first poll of the preseason.

Sunday, the latest polls were released with the Spartans coming in at No 6 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 7 in the Coaches Poll.  While the ranking in the AP Poll is one move up, the Coaches poll finds the Spartans dropping a spot and trading places with LSU.

With four games left in the season, Michigan State remains on task to reach their goals with the month of November having match-ups with Nebraska, Maryland, Ohio State and Penn State.  Since his arrival, Dantonio has seen his teams play well in November posting an overall 21-6 record in the previous eight seasons.  In the last two under quarterback Connor Cook the Spartans have gone 7-1.
