Michigan State defensive lineman Lawrence Thomas knows the Spartans got the job done against Indiana on Saturday afternoon.

The journey from top high school recruit to one of the leaders of the Michigan State defense has been a long one for Lawrence Thomas. Saturday, Thomas and the Spartans defense stepped up when they were needed most and helped the Spartans to their eighth win of the season as they defeated Indiana 52-26.

Michigan State defensive lineman Lawrence Thomas is having the best season of his Spartans career and looking to help the team reach their lofty goals of winning a Big Ten Championship and reaching the college football playoffs.

Last season Thomas posted a career high 30 tackles.  Already this season, the Detroit native has 26 tackles to go with two sacks and three quarterback hurries.
