Future Michigan State quarterback Messiah deWeaver helped his high school team go 10-0 and win the GWOC Central Championship.

Spartan Digest caught future Spartan quarterback Messiah deWeaver in action on Friday night as he helped Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne go 10-0 winning the Greater Western Ohio Conference Central championship along with a high seed in the upcoming playoffs.

For one quarter Michigan State assistant coach Harlon Barnett watched future Spartan quarterback Messiah deWeaver and his Huber Heights Wayne teammates jump out to a 21-0 advantage over Centerville High School.

deWeaver would finish the game having gone 13-of-19 for 222-yards and one touchdown as the Warriors would defeat their rival 56-17 to capture a conference championship and high seed in the playoffs.
