Michigan State Spartans senior quarterback Connor Cook was named one of five finalist for The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

Cook, who has led the Spartans to an 8-0 record so far this season, has completed 145 of 253 passes for 2,060 yards while throwing 17 touchdowns with only two interceptions.

Joining Cook on the list is TCU’s Trevone Boykin, USC’s Cody Kessler, Memphis’s Paxton Lynch and Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott.
