Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne and Michigan State quarterback pledge Messiah deWeaver has been moved up to a four-star ranking by Scout.

Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne senior quarterback Messiah deWeaver put together a great summer and a senior season leading the Warriors to a 14-1 record and runner-up finish in Ohio’s big school division. Now, deWeaver has been moved up to a four-star prospect by Scout.

After evaluating Messiah deWeaver's senior season, Scout has moved the Michigan State Spartans pledge from a three-star prospect to a four-star ranking.

This past season deWeaver complete 166 of 280 passes for 2,924 yards with 32 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions while also rushing for another three scores while showing great improvement to his overall game becoming a more complete quarterback in a new offense.

Not only has deWeaver continued to grow phsically, but Scout was impressed by his improvements in managing a game while throwing the ball with more accuracy, timing and touch.

The future is bright for the future Spartan as he'll enroll early at MSU and start the next phase in his development.
