The clock is ticking for Donnie Corley to make his college announcement during Saturday's nationally televised U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The hands on Donnie Corley's recruiting clock are ticking down until he makes his college decision on national television during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Will Corley pick Michigan State or Ohio State? Or will Michigan and Tennessee surprise everyone and nab the Detroit Kings standout? Spartan Digest gives our thoughts on where Corley will pick on Saturday.

Michigan State Spartans fans have been waiting until this day as one of the top instate prospects, Donnie Corley, will finally make his college decision known to the world.

While many expected Corley to become a Spartan in the summer, the Detroit King High School standout pushed his decision to the side and took his time during the recruiting process.

Will Michigan State be Corely’s final stop?

Has Ohio State really moved to the forefront and taken the lead for Corley?

While Corley will take center stage during the NBC telecast and be placed in front of hats bearing the Spartans and Buckeyes logos, he’ll also have in front of him hats from Tennessee and Michigan.

However, all talk has centered on the Spartans and Buckeyes as the schools to beat with analyst splitting on where he’ll end up.

Spartan Digest checked with a couple sources on Friday night and both feel the Spartans remain confident they’ve done the job of showing Corley how his future as a Spartan will prepare him for success at the college level while also giving him the tools to develop into a player capable of playing at the next level.  They’ve also done a great job of showing how Corley can be one of the next Spartan stars helping keep the Spartans at the top of the Big Ten Conference and in the hunt to play for a national championship.

At this time Spartan Digest feels Corley will pick the Spartans on Saturday afternoon. But like everyone else, we’ll have to wait and see if the love Corley had back in the summer for MSU is still there when it matters most.
