Did Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio just take out a full page ad for an experience offensive tackle?

Could Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio be ready for another first? From the sound of it, the Spartans head coach is fully open to try something different in recruiting.

Since 2006, the NCAA has allowed college football players to transfer with immediate eligibility if they’ve earned their degree and are seeing a graduate degree in a major not offered by their current school.

The Michigan State Spartans have seen their share of opponents use the rule like Wisconsin did with Russell Wilson, Oregon with Vernon Adams and Michigan with Jake Rudock to name a few.

While Mark Dantonio has yet to get his feet wet by taking in a player in this category, he’s not opposed to it either and put out his version of advertising with the media at his recent press conference.
