No. 4 Michigan State falls to Wisconsin in final seconds on the road to move to 16-3 overall.

The Wisconsin Badgers upset No. 4 Michigan State in final seconds of Big Ten play leaving many questions for Tom Izzo to answer in the coming weeks.

It looked like the Michigan State Spartans got back the Denzel Valentine prior to his injury during their game against Wisconsin.  However, the Badgers faced a Spartans team that was whistled 28 times for personal fouls allowing them to shot 36 free throws and score 29 points from the charity stripe.

In comparison the Spartans saw only 15 personal fouls called on the Badgers putting them on the line 16 times where they hit on 12 free throws.

But in a game that saw the Spartans lead for over 23-minutes, it came down to the very end when Ethan Harp hit a layup with 10-seconds left to give the Badgers their 77-76 advantage and leaving little time for the Spartans to hit their final shot for a win.

In the closing seconds Valentine missed from three but saw Matt Costello get the rebound and put up a shot that rimmed out as time expired.

The Spartans are now 3-3 in Big Ten play and will return home for their next two games as Nebraska (1/20) and Maryland (1/23) head to East Lansing.
