New Michigan State wide receiver Cam Chambers is excited to get started on and off the field as a Spartan.

Mark Dantonio is expecting Cam Chambers to contribute early in his career. The early enrollee heard his new head coach challenge him and teammate Donnie Corley and is excited to get started.

As the first member of Michigan State Spartans 2016 recruiting class, Cameron Chambers helped lead the way to bring in other major talent to one of the top Spartan recruiting classes in the Mark Dantonio era.

Spartan Digest spoke with Chambers during his official introduction as a Spartan and while Dantonio put him and new teammate Donnie Corley on notice, Chambers welcomed the challenge to show his skills early during his career.

What did Mark Dantonio say about Chambers?

"Cam Chambers is a big, strong and fast receiver," said Dantonio.  "At 6-foot-3, 200-plus pounts, Cam is physically imposing on the football field, plus he has the speed to take the ball all the way to the end zone on every catch.  He has exceptional ball skills combined with an impressive football IQ.  He has a hunger to be the best."
