Scout four-star defensive back Amir Riep will be at Michigan State this weekend for the Spartans Green-White Spring Game.

Top defensive back prospect Amir Riep has visited several places over the past few weeks. However, this weekend, he’ll be back at Michigan State for another visit with the Spartans. Spartan Digest got a quick update from Riep about feelings of making another visit to East Lansing.

There is no mistaking Cincinnati Colerain defensive back Amir Riep is a priority recruit for the Michigan State Spartans in the 2017 class.

Saturday, Riep told Spartan Digest he’ll be back on campus.

“I’ll be at Michigan State this weekend for sure,” stressed Riep.  “I think Keontae Jones and Howard Watkins is also going with me and my dad.”

For Riep this will be another visit with one of his top schools and a time to get another look at what the Spartans have to offer.

“I’m looking to reconnect with the coaches and some of the players,” he said.  “I’m also looking to see anything I’ve might have missed on other visits.”

The Spartans and Riep have been staying in touch but not too much on the phone.

“I’ve not talked with Coach (Harlon) Barnett too much on the phone,” he said.  “But we stay connected on Twitter all the time.”

Spartan Digest will have more on Riep’s return visit following the annual Green-White Spring Game.
