Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio gives his thoughts on the Spartans final spring practice of 2016 as the White team won 14-11 over the Green team.

The @Michigan State Spartans ended spring practice on Saturday in Spartan Stadium when Team White defeated Team Green 14-11.

GREEN TEAM HIGHLIGHTS

Senior quarterback Tyler O'Connor had a solid day passing for 138 yards while going 10--of-16 with no interceptions and one touchdown pass.  He was also the team's leading rusher with 28 net yards on the ground.  Jamal Lyles was the leading receiver for the Green with three catches for 56 yards but early enrollee Cam Chambers scored the only receiving touchdown.

On defense Montae Nicholson led the team in tackles with six total tackles followed by linebacker Jon Reschke with five stops.

WHITE TEAM HIGHLIGHTS

Junior quarterback Damion Terry was not great but solid going 6-of-12 for 70 yards.  Nick Tompkins and L.J. Scott led the White squad in rushing but it was Delton Williams and Terry scoring the team's two touchdowns.  Tight end Josiah Price was the leading receiver with three catches for 41 yards.

On defense David Dowell and Riley Bullough both had six tackles with Khari Willis and Shane Jones each adding five stops.
