We look at the future Michigan State Spartans expected to take part in the NIKE Football Opening Regional in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday.

Several future Michigan State Spartans will head to Columbus, Ohio to take part in the 2016 NIKE Opening Regional. Here is a look at who is expected to be in attendance.

It’s May so that must mean it’s time for the NIKE Football Opening Regional to head to Columbus, Ohio to checkout talent from a handful of states.

Preregistered to attend the event are a handful of future Michigan State Spartans and we look at each of them.

Weston Bridges - Bridges is the newest Spartan in the 2017 class and will get a chance to really step forward and show off his skill set.  A good showing could see Bridges open a few eyes in the recruiting world.

Darien Tipps-Clemons - Will the future Spartan linebacker workout out his pre-registered position running back?  We hope to see him take some reps as a backer to get more of a look at his skill set at the position.

Hunter Rison - The legacy Spartan should be looking to have a big day while also working on other possible prospects the Spartans are recruiting.  Will Rison step forward and do what those in last years class was able to do?
