Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio found a new team when he took part in a Boy Scout fundraising event in Marysville, Michigan.

Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio looked to earn a merit badge Thursday when he helped raise over $80,000 for the St. Clair County chapter of the Boy Scouts of America.

Michigan State Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio traded in his Green and White team on Thursday to help a different team.  

The Spartans head coach was the keynote speaker at the Boy Scouts of American’s fundraising luncheon for St. Clair County and his appearance helped draw a record crowd and a record amount of money donated to the cause.

Thanks to WXYZ in Detroit, reporter Brad Galli was on hand in Marysville, Michigan as the Spartans head coach spoke to the crowd and proved to be a Good Scout with some hard questions from some Cub reporters.
