The Michigan State Spartans made the Big Ten Conference Tournament in Baseball on Sunday. The eight team double-elimination tournament opens play Wednesday at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska. The Spartans finished the regular season with an overall record of 34-18 earning the seventh seed in the tournament. MSU will open play against No. 2 seed Nebraska in game two of four in the opening round. A win advances the Spartans to play the winner of the Indiana/Maryland game with a loss will dropping them to the losers bracket where they would face the loser of the same game. The Spartans went 1-2 against the Cornhuskers during the season and have struggled in their last nine conference games going 3 and 9.
