#26 Khari Willis
Willis is pushing to get on the field and has fans excited about his potential. Entered the spring behind Montae Nicholson at boundary safety.
True freshman that played in nine games, including three starts at safety. Broke his foot prior to Big Ten Championship Game.
WHY HE MADE THE COUNTDOWN
One of the young players on the rise after showing extremely well as a true freshman. Nicholson saw his struggles last season and this year with questions at wide receiver, some feel Nicholson could still see a move over to the offensive side of the ball if needed. But if Nicholson struggles again this fall, Willis has shown the ability to step in during big games as his starts came against Michigan, Indiana and Nebraska with him also getting several reps against Ohio State.
