We continue our countdown of the 52 Michigan State Spartans to watch during the 2016 season.

To remember one of the best Michigan State squads, Spartan Digest brings you our Spartan 52 for 2016. Why “52”? to remember the 1952 team coach by Clarence Lester “Biggie” Munn that went 9-0 winning a National Championship by being voted No. 1 in both the AP and Coaches’ polls. Munn was also named AFCA Coach of the Year.

#11 Josiah Price

The top tight end in touchdowns in Michigan State history is back for his final season looking to add to his record numbers.  The question will be how much Price will miss Connor Cook as the two had great chemistry over the past two seasons.

Earned third-team All-Big Ten from the coaches and media.  Was ranked fourth on the Spartans with 23 catches for 267 yards in 12 games.

With the losses suffered at wide receiver, Price could prove extremely valuable in the Spartans offense as he’s a proven contributor.  Now it will be up to Tyler O’Connor and Price to team up like he’d done with Cook the past two seasons.
