Spartans Commit Watch: Week 3

Michigan State's commits did well this week, especially Hunter Rison, who made a spectacular, highlight reel play.

Kevin Jarvis, OG, Maine South (Park Ridge, IL)
Maine South lost for the second time this season. They were defeated by Barrington (Illinois) 41-27. 

Matt Dotson, TE, Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH)
Moeller defeated Mason (Ohio) Sunday afternoon 17-14. 

Hunter Rison, WR, Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI)
Rison caught a 33-yard touchdown pass, one-handed in double coverage, Friday night in Skyline’s 24-21 loss to Saline. 

Rocky Lombardi, QB, Valley (West Des Moines, IA)
In the fourth quarter, Lombardi led Valley with a  4 minute 14 second touchdown drive to defeat Dowling 16-9. 

Weston Bridges, RB, Copley (Akron, OH)
Copley lost to Barberton (Ohio) Friday night, but Bridges had 22 carries for 117 yards.

Darien Tipps-Clemons, RB, Piqua (Piqua, OH)
Tipps-Clemons is out for the season with a knee injury. Piqua is now 1-2 following a 30-6 loss to Franklin (Ohio). 

Josiah Scott, CB, Fairfield (Fairfield, OH)
Josiah Scott had his fourth interception of the season in Farifield’s 31-14 loss to Dublin Coffman (Ohio).

Jack Camper, TE, IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)
IMG Academy won their third game of the season, defeating Booker T. Washington (Tulsa) 49-7.

Donovan Winter, DE, Bishop Moore Catholic (Orlando, FL)
Bishop Moore lost to University (Florida) 38-33 Friday night. 

Mustafa Khaleefah, OT, Dearborn (Dearborn, MI)
Dearborn defeated Edsel Ford (Michigan) Friday night 40-18. 

Matt Carrick, OG, Perry (Massillon, OH)
Perry is now 2-1 after defeating New Philadelphia (Ohio) 20-15 Friday night.

Lashawn Paulino-Bell, DE, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
In a blow-out victory St.Thomas Aquinas defeated Plantation (Florida) 49-0.

Jacub Panasiuk, DE, Lake Park (Roselle, IL)
Lake Park Defeated DeKalb (Illinois) 28-21 Friday night. 

Dominique Long, S, Westerville South (Westerville, OH)
Westerville South is now 0-3 following a 24-3 loss to Hilliard Darby (Ohio).  

Jordan Reid, OG, Cass Tech (Detroit, MI)
Cass Tech blew-out Pershing (Michigan) 57-0 Friday night.
