There's no doubting that Dublin Coffman was well aware of the coverage skills of Michigan State commit Josiah Scott. They rarely challenged him in coverage, and the one time they did with three-star receiver Caleb Stoneburner, Scott picked off the football. After a few nice kickoff returns, Coffman decided to stop kicking the football to him. He wasn't called on to make many tackles, but he showed himself to be a willing tackler. Although not real tall at 5-foot-10, Scott played big throughout the game. He's ranked as a three-star cornerback, and I think that rating is spot on.
