Spartan Nation caught up with Michigan State linebacker Chris Frey following the Spartans recent practice as they look to get back on the winning side after three disappointing weeks. Frey is looking for Saturday to answer a lot of questions surrounding the Spartans defense and team overall.
With injuries to Jon Reschke and Riley Bullough, Chris Frey has stepped forward as the leader of Michigan State’s linebackers on and off the field.
On the field Frey has posted 40 total tackles with six quarterback hurries but knows the end results count more than individual stats.
Following practice on Tuesday afternoon, Spartan Nation and other members of the media spoke with Frey about the team's performance and what is needed to correct the direction the team is headed.
