The three-star recruit chose Michigan State over offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati, Iowa, Indiana and others. Boateng visited Michigan State yesterday and knew East Lansing would be his future home.

“It feels good to be a Spartan,” Boateng exclaimed to Spartan Nation shortly after calling the Michigan State staff to give them his pledge.

His meeting with Coach Dantonio sealed the deal for his decision to be a Spartan. “I just really look up to Coach Dantonio. I think he will help me become a better person on and off the field,” he explained.

Scout rates Jeslord Boateng a three-star outside linebacker.
