The ES - (EnlightenedSpartan.com) -- Time for the Spartan Nation to Rise to Dominance!
Why is Michigan seen as being so arrogant? Because UM wins all the time. The Wolvies have been on the winning end more than any other team in NCAA history - and they let you know it. They think they should always win. Win at all costs. The "no, wait, this is MICHIGAN" Wolvie fans are so consumed with winning that they have lost all sense of reality. There are 117 teams in D1-A, and only a handful win 10 games in any given season. Yet, Michigan fans expect their team to be among that group EVERY YEAR. That is just not reality. Reality is understanding that eight wins a year is acceptable and an outstanding year. Why do they expect to win 10 games every year: "BECAUSE THIS IS MICHIGAN FOOTBALL."
Excuse me while I puke. It's gonna take the Spartans to knock you back to your senses.
The greatest thing about being a Spartan is that we have an opportunity to kick Michigan's ass every year. Just having them on the schedule, it's circled in red. As long as Michigan keeps looking ahead to Ohio State every year, the Big Green will take joy in knocking the Blue Meanies off the pedestal. Go ahead, beat the Buckeyes, but we'll be the ones to ruin your season.
What would be more beautiful than MSU beating Michigan? Yes, fans, there is one more thing. It would be a thing of beauty for Michigan to then lose to Ohio State, and hopefully lose in their Bowl Game. That would bring the Mighty Maize back down to reality with an 8-5 record (including a win at Northwestern). 8-5 is a great season, Michigan fans. Heck, us Spartans would take 8-5 every year. But, we have 37 years of reality to lean back on, dating back to our 1966 National Championship. You Wolvies have lost that touch of reality.
Remember, what comes around goes around. Every dog has its day. Methinks it is high-time for the Mighty Spartan Nation to rise and pound the Wolverines into submission. Thirty-seven years is a long time, longer than the ES has been alive. It's time for MSU to take over the football dominance in this state.
Spartan domination starts Saturday. Watch the Big Green hurt the Blue Meanies and make them cry. And, Spartan fans, this is only the beginning of great things to come.
PS -- Lloyd Carr doesn't help Michigan's public relations. Carr looks constipated all the time. Sometimes, you'll see a smile. But most of the time, he just displays his personality right on his face - the personality of a fence post.
